Cyprus - Part One

The wedding of my beautiful cousin, Laura has been the topic of discussion among the family for some time now. Excited booking, plans, and countdowns have been going on for months, so when it finally rolled around, you'd think there's no way it'd match up to the months of hype...wrong. It was so much better. Welcome to part one...

On the day we arrived, it was pretty late, so we had a mini reunion, all of us meeting in the hotel lobby, and then put away a fair chunk of drinks, setting the tone for the rest of the holiday, and went to bed.
The next day we eagerly headed downstairs for the buffet breakfast and the poolside beds!

Huge bonus that the Odessa Hotel had a table tennis table. Ben dominated us all, but my Dad and Uncle James were about evenly matched.

That night we opted to stay in the hotel as we needed an early night before the wedding the next day. Bonus that there was bingo on!

I gave a show ripe with comedy...some of it intended.

Gran liked it, anyway.

And then the show stealers...giving a truly terrible rendition of Country Road....
